We’re on the cover of Ottawa Magazine’s City Home issue

Our Double Decker Deck  is featured in Ottawa Magazine’s inaugural issue of City Home – and it’s the cover shot! The deck,  is part of a story on “Great Spaces – inside the city’s most stylist homes”, and it is indeed a great space.  Actually, it’s more than a deck.  It is really a fabulous 2 storey outdoor room with full kitchen, sitting areas, and greenhouse.  With removable screens, outdoor fire pit, and all weather kitchen features, the deck is almost a 4 season space – even in Ottawa’s cold climate.  See the full article here.   This project was a 3 time winner at the recent GOHBA Housing Design Awards – taking top honors in the categories of Outdoor Spaces, and Exterior Housing Details.  It also won the Ottawa Citizen’s Peoples’ Choice Award – meaning it won the public’s vote against all 158 finalists.
